There is no difference between Personal and Enterprise License other than it is for personal use or use in companies. Like other software, we
frequently check the use of Personal License in companies, which will be in breach of the License Agreement. If you are a freelancer, you are
eligable for the use of Personal License, however if you are to continue the use of Marvelous Designer in Enterprise conditions, you will have
to purchase an Enterprise License.
We have two different products called Marvelous Designer and CLO 3D that have been specifically designed for the entertainment and fashion industries, respectively. While similar, CLO 3D is equipped with additional features that are essential to fashion designers including avatar size adjustability and support for DXF-AAMA (drawing) files. Other features unique to CLO 3D are: The ability to measure the avatar as a tailor would, techpack (specifications) feature, diverse stitching visuals, and advanced CAD features. To learn more about CLO 3D, please visit www.clo3d.com
Users can purchase either a Monthly License ($59.99) for up to 3 months or purchase an Annual License at a discounted amount. The
Annual License is billed ANNUALLY so the actual purchase price for Annual License will be $360, and will be good for one full year.
There is no automatic monthly billing system applied here, the License will only last for the period that users have purchased. It will not re-
license itself by charging automatically at the end of the license period.
A major upgrade would consist of something like newly developed features - which generally occur once a year. Patches and introductions of new minor features are provided free of charge with a Perpetual license, but for Major upgrades, there will be a charge for the upgrade. Please refer to the upgrade price from pricing page. Monthly/Annual subscriptions include all major and minor updates.
Pattern-based garment design uses separate template pieces that are "sewn together" to create a finished garment. This is the standard way clothing is made in the fashion industry and is very applicable to virtual garment design. Rather than sculpting clothing on 3D avatars, pattern-based garments are constructed separately and are then draped onto the 3D avatar, making UV-unwrapping work unnecessary. This process allows for realistic simulation as well as a flexible data archive of garment work that can be reformed or reused for future designs and/or avatars.

Marvelous Designer also supports raising or lowering the number of polygons, so you can freely optimize the number of polygons for your characters’ clothing.
